    deep in thoughts

My brain doesn't seem to stop thinking and thinking. It's gonna be a random post. I've been doing wrong things lately and I promise You not to do it again. Is this what you meant by soul ties? I saw the ugly side of people and the nice side of people in a day. Upon comparison, I felt disgusted for what I'm actually doing. I'm afraid I was thinking too much but I know it's not. I was again reminded of 1 Tim 4:12. I see people struggling, not knowing what exactly they need and what they want, not knowing what are their goals, their purpose in life and they just live aimlessly. People do not appreciate what they have, they can quarrel over things e.g. cars when the poorer doesn't even own one. Shouldn't you be satisfied with what you have now, even minor things and give thanks? There are people who owns a lot but still moans but there are also people who has nothing yet still giving thanks. Paradoxical isn't it? I see help needed, so dry in their spiritual life but they do not know where to seek help.

I have wanted so much to tell you that God can fill up all these needs, how real He is after I experienced it for myself but that day I held back, those words just cannot come out from my mouth. Not because God has failed me, but i failed Him. When I shared my testimony to a new friend of mine in India, I paused and started thinking. What exactly is my testimony? Because my testimony, I thought, wasn't as interesting as some people. Then this friend of mine, said, " I have a friend just like you. She feels that her testimony wasn't as dramatic as she hopes to be, it was nothing much. " But one day, when that friend of hers was sharing her testimony to someone, she said, " I've found what I've been looking for, and that's Jesus."

Do things which edify, Speak in words which edify.

    Crispy Pratz

OKIE DOKZ! Pratas nowadays are difficult to come by. Because I have to travel to and fro, searching for the place, just to eat the prata. HAHA. But it's worth it, because you get to have free pratas in exchange. YuMZ..hot and crispy pratas with great accompany. A prata session with 2Bs and SC. =)
I did something which I thought I'll never do today. One thing which I find it disgusting and painful, I did it today. That's, contact lenses. HAHA. Gosh! Can't believe it. The feeling is kinda great without spectacles but everything has its pros and cons. Thus, I'm still considering whether to carry on wearing or just buy another pair of spectacles.
OOPS! How can I forget about my FTT?? Guess what?? I've PASSED!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO! So so proud of myself because I passed on my 2nd attempt. Unlike my BTT, which I took YEARS to pass it. Phew! I can start to learn driving finally! Late night supper, vivo, Changi Airport...woo...wait for me! hehe

    Mission Trip to India

YEAP! My third trip to India. Every trip is a new learning curve for me. So much lessons learnt with amazing breakthroughs and testimonies. In the beginning, I have no idea what makes me say "yes" but I have no regrets. My third trip, I went with Rus and Mich. It's my first time working with Mich, I should say it's quite a good experience. We have different working style, different ideas, sometimes it even spark off a little fire in my heart, yet I know it's all God's plan that we're in the same team. I come to learn to love, love and love even more because that's one of the commandments.

Before the trip, we had mission trainings for about 2-3 mths or even more. We learnt and practised dance each time we met and it's my first time learning contemporary dance. Kinda difficult for such an unflexible person like me but I really enjoyed it. That's only one of the things I've learnt. We left on 15th Aug and reached on 16th. Had a good night rest and woke up to pack our bagpacks to get ready to leave for another town, Dhamapuri. It's my first time taking the train in India and good thing I never gave much thought about the cleanliness on train except for the TOILET! I'm quite a cleanliness freak thus I planned to try to control my bladder as much as possible if I could initially. Like any other normal bladders, I couldn't hold on much longer and I went to check the status of the toilet. GOOD THING, it's quite acceptable and not as bad as I imagined.
Having the best during mission trips is not a usual thing yet we had it. We took the A2 class, meaning there's a/c, we packed loads of food from Singapore as you can see in the photo. Ba gua biscuits, sweets, canned salmon, tuna, instant noodles and mushie soup. We even spent 2 nights in a hotel.

    Cell Outing at Da Dong

Woo! This is my very first post on blogger. Well, I mean my personal blog. =) Alright, I shall post about the outing will my MUACHEE-IANS. I seldom accept dates at such an early hour and such a far place but YES I did with much pleasure and I didn't give a second thought about it. Guess I've rot enough at home and that explains my enthusiasm. HAHA.

This very nice Saturday morning, I went out with my cell members to have breakfast at a DIm SuM Restaurant at Chinatown and cell intern says to meet at 9AM!! Let me introduce you my cell members. First on the list, E. Ho, our very tiny little cell leader. Don't get deceived by her looks because she may look shy, a very nice jie jie BUT she can be a very stern person. HAHA. That's a compliment. Next, our 2nd E, E. Yeung. She's the cell intern and the keyboardist. In fact, almost everyone in the cell plays keyboard. The GB products, A. Ang, Ang S.P., Zhu Y.M. and Neo Y.S. OUr Baboon, Y. Chia. Last but not least, our great actress, E. Yeung, who was also the absentee.

Alright. Back to the outing. Thank God for nice and loving parents who woke up so early to send the few of us to Chinatown. Thank God the nice weather and the sumptuous breakfast. Thank GOd for cell leader who treated us. Thank God for everyone from Muachees. It's so amazing how God has put all of us together to form this cell. You girls are really great.

We were very very extremely full after stuffing ourselves with so much BAOs (char siew baos, Da Baos), springrolls, siew mai, har kow, carrot cake, glutinous rice, ZHU chang fen, wobbly egg tarts. After which, E. Ho introduced and brought us to the shop where she normally gets her shampoo from. She says the price is much cheaper compared to other shops. That's true. Our next stop was to a dessert shop which I introduced to them. It's famous for it's peanut paste but generally, all are good.
Then, we took bus to SKS Christian bookstore. It's really big and stacked up with hundreds and hundreds of books. A very nice place to go to if you're having headache on what kind of books to get because you have lots of options there. We spent about 45 minutes browsing and searching for the books we want to get and I believe it's a very fruitful day for some. =) Last stop, tea time, resting time, chatting time at Ya Kun. We took 851 back to Yishun and separated. I followed Elin to the worship practice to take a look and I really had a great time staying in that cosy area with my ears being blasted with the sound of different equipments, drums, bass, singers. I enjoy listening to the drums which goes, doo-doo-doo BISH! The beat, the rhythm, the loudness, I simply love them all. YOu'll just start swaying with the beat, tapping your feet without you knowing. More surprises, more testimonies to come. Stay tune. Expect the unexpected.
