    Mea Mea ~~~

    hehe. scratching his back

HOHO! I LOVE public holidays!!! It's the only time we can really get together for family outings like this. YES! we went to see mea mea, goats. Today is really busy. Went to goat farm, had a full lunch (PIZZA HUT), wanted to go and see cars, tea time at usual place, THEN it's popiah dinner at my aunt's place. Come to think of it, public holidays are also the best time to gain weight unintentionally. HAHA. so sinful. haha. All my effort has went down the drain. =)
Orientation tomorrow. It's on resuscitation. So many events coming up ahead. Going to start playing for corporate prayer this friday. Saturday is Footprint's Retreat. And ya! I've printed out the photos to decorate my locker. wahaha. And smart yushan thought of making a calendar and paste on it, it's partly because of my short term memory, so it helps to remind me of what's going to happen for the next few days. Exciting isn't it? WAHAHA.
Oh man! I can't wait for next week also. WAHAHA. Big thanks to sister for changing my roster. HAHA. There's 4 or 5 days of working together. Hope it goes well. hehe. =) Tata.

    Busy Days

woo. days really pass so fast. It's now my 2nd week of work. In case I forget, Yushan starts work officially on 13th October 2008. This is the date which marks my new stage of life. It comes with committment and maturity. I was very nervous on my first day, the thought of facing new colleagues, new environment, working in a completely different discipline, wondering how's the sister like etc. ALL these send goosebumps to my nerves. Even up till now, I'm still so stressed up with my work. The thought of being late for work, usually is due to oversleep, is actually enough to wake me up from my sleep every other hour. HAHA. BUT thank God, I get to enjoy 2 off days straight.

In fact, work hasn't been quite smooth since the day I started. What I mean is the days following my 1st day of work. But through these days, I saw God's awesome power working in my family especially my sister. How God has healed her and strengthened her. Thank God for you are real, you really exist. I pray, not only for my sister, my family but for you to get to know Jesus as well. It's more than a religion, it's far greater than you expect Jesus to be.

Well, my 2nd week of work, I kinda know my colleagues better. They are really nice people to work with though I have not worked with all. AND! sometimes my insomnia is because of you, the butterflies in my stomach is also because of you. I pray pray pray that things will work out. =)

    End Of The Spear

WEE!!! First thing first, I LOVE my new blog skin. HAHA. because there's coffee coffee coffee. Can you smell the aroma? HAHA. I'm so blessed with bloggers gurus who always offers to help me change my blog skin. hehe. So far, there's 2 on this list of guru-ians. They are Lim Yee Joo and Jacinth Moh Swee Shan. Many many and million of thanks for helping me out in this area. =)

Secondly, I wanna share a very nice and a must watch movie to you guys and gals. It's called End Of The Spear. I first watched this movie during cell last friday, which is 3rd October. It's a really really nice, touching, amazing TRUE STORY. It talks about 5 missionaries reaching out to the untouchables, the Waodani. Waodani is a tribe who are rather ruthless and violent and revenge killings took place in this tribe. They kill people from other tribes and this became a cycle. They also kill foreigners because they lack of trust as they are a group of natives. Regardless of these, the missionaries still risk their lives, trying to reach out to them and spread the gospel to them. What impacted me most was the conversation between one of the missionaries, Nate Saint, and his son, Steve Saint, which took place before Nate sets out to this place where the Waodani can be found.

Boy: Will you defend yourself if they (reffering to the Waos) attack you?
Father:paused for a while No, because we are ready for heaven but they are not.

I was so awed upon hearing this conversation. They are going out in all means to spread the gospel to them. They know these group of people are ruthless but still they want to let them know of God's existence, even when they know they may get killed by them. In the end, Nate Saint and the rest of the missionaries were killed by the Waos. However, the wives of these missionaries continued to reach out to these group of people by offering medical aid to them. It took so much for one to say, " I forgive you" isn't it? Especially when it involves your love ones. Imagine I killed your love ones, will you still help me when I need help? God's forgiveness is so awesome isn't it? Watch watch WATCH this movie. It can be found on youtube.

Not bad ah, yushan knows how to upload video from youtube. HAHA.

    Go Easy On Fishies

Oh man! Am I so fated to Fish & Co. this year? or am I fated to the calmari, fish and chips? haha. Guess what? I had my 2nd birthday party at Fish & Co. again. It still was a surprise because my birthday was long over, i mean few days over, I didn't expect sis Helen to celebrate with us. Well, this time round, there's a 2nd birthday girl. Happy Birthday to the both of us. I must say I didn't really enjoy my birthday, my actual birth DAY. But well, God has taught me lesson on that day. =) so it's kinda worth it ain't it? I was so full on that day not because of Fish & Co. Well, it adds on to it BUT I had a FOOD Marathon. HAHA. I had curry rice for breakfast early in the morning, my 1st time to Marche (a treat from sister), Iced Horlicks for tea time at Ya Kun and last but not least, mushie salad at Fish & Co. I thank God for PHs because I get to spend quality time with my love ones.
OH YES! this is my surprise birthday gift from the girls. HAHAHA. It was real real hilarious. HAHA. Have you figured out what it is? =)
